Der Lehár-Marsch entstand im Herbst 1907. In der Orchesterausgabe findet man den Vermerk „Meinem lieben Freunde Franz Lehár in größter Verehrung gewidmet.“ Dieser Marsch ist eines der seltenen Beispiele dafür, dass Stolz manche seiner Werke auch selbst instrumentiert hat.

The Lehár-March was written in the autumn of 1907. The orchestral edition has the annotation “Dedicated, with the greatest of reverence, to my dear friend Franz Lehár.” This march is one of the rare examples of Stolz personally orchestrating some of his own works.
