Stolz meets jazz!

For a long time, jazz icon Berndt Luef from Graz couldn’t connect to the music of Robert Stolz – many of the well-known arrangements seemed too cheesy and overly sweet. But on closer listening, he discovered the great melodic richness in the compositions, which lends itself wonderfully to creative jazz arrangements – with a bossa nova rhythm, fresh harmonies and sophisticated key changes.

At Salon Stolz, Berndt Luef and his quintet bring these special arrangements to life – complemented by selected pieces from his CD ‘Matinee’.
